A Pirate’s Life For Me!!! January 28, 2010

Blackbeard

The Craziest and meanest pirate of all time.

I am monstrous and ferocious.
I wonder if these land lovers will ever find my treasure.
I hear pistols and cutlasses as battle approaches.
I see smoke rising with an eerie promise of victory.
I want to conquer and rule the mighty seas.
I am monstrous and ferocious.

I pretend the Queen Anne’s Revenge will soar.
I feel I am the best pirate ever to roam the seas.
I touch my smoking beard.
I worry about the loss of freedom.
I cry at the thought of failure and the collapse of this crew.
I am monstrous and ferocious.

I understand defeat may perhaps appear.
I say, “Fight till the death mates!”
I dream this crew will fight fearlessly.
I try to contemplate the conclusion of this muddle.
I hope triumph is a result I rapidly discover.
I am monstrous and ferocious.

The Craziest and meanest pirate of all time.

I am gruesome and vicious.

I take notice of pistols and cutlasses in the background as battle approaches.

I feel I am the finest pirate ever to roam the seas.
I stroke my smoking beard.
